Intracoastal Marine, Inc has developed a Safety Management System (SMS) based on
the requirements of the American Waterways Operator’s Responsible Carrier Program.
Our SMS, as certified through AWO, indicates our strong commitment to conducting our
business in the safest, most efficient, and professional manner possible. Participation in
the Responsible Carrier Program enables us to continually develop and monitor our Safety Management System to ensure the best practices are being enforced.

All of our employees are required to attend safety orientations during which they learn
about Intracoastal Marine, Inc’s Safety Management System and their responsibilities for
compliance with the SMS. Employees are also educated on our policies to promote a drug
and alcohol free workplace. To maintain awareness, our crews participate in regularly
scheduled fire and safety meetings and drills.

The dangers of water based commerce are unavoidable. Our company is focused
and committed to limiting those dangers as much as possible.

We require our waste procedures be strictly adhered to and in the event of an accident
have response plans designed to limit the impact on the environment. We work closely
with the U.S. Coast Guard to ensure we are up to date with every requirement. We are
proud to say we have an above average safety record.
