Personnel



BOAT PERSONNEL

Intracoastal Marine, Inc. provides it's mariners with a flexible work schedule.  This allows our employees the opportunity to return home to their families more often than a traditional set schedule.  We believe this boosts the crew's moral when operating our vessels.  The happiness and sense of fulfillment of our personnel is an integral part in providing the best service possible for our customers. 

Additionally, we strive to keep crew shifting to a minimum.  This allows for our mariners to take pride in their assigned vessel.  Because of our vessel specific crewing, our boats have been able to uphold the Company's reputation as one of the most well maintained fleets in the industry.  All of our vessels are U.S. Coast Guard examined and compliant.  We equip all of our vessels with state of the art navigational equipment and complete safety equipment well above standard requirements.



OFFICE PERSONNEL

Over half of our office personnel have worked as mariners themselves.  Additionally, we maintain licensed office personnel, so customers can be assured they will be working with a staff of knowledgeable and experienced personnel.

President: Greg Conn has held a USCG Master of Towing Vessel License since 1988.

Port Captain:
 Roger Morgan has a USCG Master of Towing Vessel 200 GRT License. He is a Certified Designated Examiner, CSO & AB Limited.

Port Engineer: 
 Phillip Caudill has over 38 years' experience in the maritime industry for boat construction and maintenance and is certified in multiple propulsion systems.

Administration And Finance:
   
Nancy Schy has over 35 years' experience in marine transportation industry with expertise in accounting, management and operations.  She graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science degree and is member of the Virginia Maritime Association and the Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk
